About Us
Moon Tool & Die Company is well-versed in design, build, and repair of plastic injection molds. We are also competent in the construction of dies, jigs, fixtures, and spare tooling components. And we have diversified into machining and manufactuing of components for liquid transport and metering devices. Moon Tool & Die Company employs over twenty-five persons. The employees work well together as teams and offer over two hundred years of cumulative experience.
The equipment at Moon Tool & Die Company is current by present day standards. Over the past two years alone over $1,000,000 has been invested in new equipment and technology. The machinery is kept and used in a proper working environment and is maintained on a regular basis. Our major equipment includes such items as: CNC Makino, Hansvedt & Eltee Pulsitron Die Sinking EDMs, Fanuc and Makino Wire EDMs, Makino, Mori Seiki & Haas CNC Vertical Machining Centers, Mori Seiki & KIA Turning Centers, Bridgeport Vertical Milling Machines, Jakobson Hydraulic Surface Grinder, Harig Manual Surface Grinders, Clausing Engine Lathe, Hardinge High Speed Production Lathe with Bar Feed System, DoAll Roll-In Band Saws, Hem Saw, Drill Presses, Pedestal Grinders, etc. We also have a full compliment of the smaller support and inspection equipment that is required for gaging and inspecting our products. Two Coordinate Measuring Machines assist us in our inspection process. Our DCC Cooridinate Measuring Machine has the most up to date, full featured software for direct comparisons to electronic models.
