At Moon Tool, our professional tool makers employ high volume CNC milling through the use of eleven different machines, all with varying capabilities and capacities. Each device interacts with a computer that is equipped with software that translates the numerical code into precise instructions for the cutting and drilling of material. This allows the milling to be done at an incredibly high precision rate. So, whether the need is a custom CNC milled part or a high-volume milling production, these machines can get the job done.

Why Moon Tool CNC Milling?

All our machines in our CNC Milling Department are programmed with MasterCAM software offline to enable maximum uptime for machining operations and are equipped with probing systems. Several have 4th axis units and many are outfitted with ChipBLASTER High Pressure Coolant systems.

Also included in our machine line-up are:

Matsuura MX520: can do simultaneous 5 axis machining
HAAS VF-6: a vertical 3 axis mill with a trunnion which we refer to as a 3+2 axis due to the fact that we cannot machine all 5 axis simultaneously.
